We are looking for a Media Monitor/Reporting Officer and Helpdesk Officer/Receptionist in the Europe House in Podgorica. Below are job descriptions:

Media Monitor/Reporting Officer:

Job description:

Monitoring content of all relevant media and media platforms in Montenegro in accordance with the requests of the EU Delegation.

Monitoring content in newspapers, television and portals. Content media monitoring with the aim of producing a comprehensive, well-conceived, consize reports in English and Montenegrin.

Monitoring all daily information content – news, informative tv shows, guest appearances, texts; drafting the report in accordance with the guidelines and requirements of the EU Delegation.

Monitoring important media events for the Delegation and the Europe House with ad hoc analyses.

Qualifications and skills
• A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least 4 years attested by a diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, European Studies, Social Science or at least 5 years of professional experience in areas related to this contract;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent spoken and written English;
• Local language knowledge would be an asset.
• Excellent knowledge on the EU, its policies and European integration process.General professional experience
• At least 7 years of professional work experience in information and communications.Specific professional experience
• At least 3 years of professional experience in writing articles, press releases, television stories and public information in areas of EU policies and EU integration process.
• Previous experience as media monitor in an international environment is an asset.
• Experience in drafting readouts of meetings, summarising conferences and events is an asset.
• Experience in drafting and implementing media buying plans would be an asset
• Previous experience in an EU-funded project would be an asset

Helpdesk Officer/Receptionist:
Job description:

First contact point for all the visitors;

Providing information on EU programmes and EUIC activities to the general public.

Developing an extensive database of contacts and mailing lists for the EU Delegation.

Assisting in organising all events in Europe House and occasionally in other locations in Montenegro.

Administrative part of project: market research of the relevant suppliers, following and implementing EU procurement procedures, Vat exemption coordination.

Office management.

Helpdesk Officer/Receptionist shall be the first contact point for all the visitors and calls to the Europe House.She/he shall perform secretarial duties.

Qualifications and skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent customer service skills;
• Excellent spoken and written English;
• Local language knowledge would be an asset.
• Excellent knowledge on the EU, its policies and European integration process
• Previous experience as helpdesk officer/secretary in an EU integration context a distinct asset
Desirable:

Previous experience in administration of the EU-funded projects
