Apply for the III International EYCA Educo Camp, which will bring together 30 young people from Montenegro and the region in Mojkovac (Imanje Rakočević) from 12-15 August. The event is designed for young people aged 18 to 25 who want to learn more about media and financial literacy, strategic planning, youth entrepreneurship, digital tools, and marketing.

In addition to the planned workshops, the first day will feature a traditional panel discussion “International Youth Day: Young People, Can You Hear Us?” with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Sports and Youth and other domestic and international organisations based in Montenegro, as well as prominent youth activists from Montenegro and the region.

The three-day educational seminar, celebrating International Youth Day and the European Year of Skills on 12 August, is organised by the project team of the NGO Centre for Youth Education, with financial support from the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, NLB Bank AD Podgorica, and Mastercard.

Interested individuals can apply until Monday, 31 July, at 16:00h, by filling out a simple form at the following link:

I believe that the ‘EYCA Educo Camp,’ supported by the European Union for the third year now, is an excellent opportunity for young people from Montenegro and the Western Balkans to engage, learn new things, and have fun. We want to enable young people from all over Europe to realise their full potential and enrich our common civic space. They are agents of change and our best innovators, regardless of whether they come from EU member states or candidate countries; they are the future of Europe,” stated Oana Cristina Popa, Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro.

We invite all young people to apply and make use of their summer to gain new knowledge, experiences, and friendships. Along with excellent lecturers who will engage with selected camp participants in a fun and interactive way, they can look forward to various interesting activities in the afternoons, such as film screenings, sports, social games, and scouting tours,” said Natalija Bošković, Project Manager at the NGO Centre for Youth Education.

The European Youth Card (EYCA) is the only official and free benefit card, supported by the Ministry of Sports and Youth, which allows all Montenegrin citizens aged 13 to 29 to access over 250 discounts in our country and over 70,000 discounts across Europe. The significance of the project and its positive effects on the quality of young people’s lives have been recognised through various strategic documents, such as the Medium-Term Programme of the Government of Montenegro (2022-2024) and the Empowerment Programme of the European Youth Card (2022-2024). So far, more than 40,000 young people across Montenegro have had the opportunity to use the card.

The European Youth Card (EYCA) project in Montenegro is carried out by the NGO Centre for Youth Education, with the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth on behalf of the Government of Montenegro.
