The Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro and the EU Info Centre announce a competition for the best video clip, titled “My Journey to Europe”.
The competition is being organised on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the EU’s Erasmus+ programme, the oldest programme in the field of education, through which the EU supports the development of education and training, and creates programmes for young people. Since its establishment, 4.4 million students have been given a chance to study at a European university through this programme, and more and more Montenegrin students are participating in it.
Competition rules:
The competition is open to the pupils of all secondary schools in Montenegro. The only limitation is that a student may not send more than three videos.
Students who wish to participate in the contest need to post the video(s) on their FB profile using the hashtag #MojeEUPutovanje, forward the link(s) to the video(s) to media@evropskakuca.me, with “My Journey to Europe” in the subject line, and must provide the following information: full name, name of school and telephone number. The competition is open until Thursday 15 June.
The video(s) should also be uploaded to www.wetransfer.com and the download link(s) to the uploaded file(s) indicated in the application e-mail. The maximum file size is 2GB, maximum video duration 180 seconds, and the format is MPEG-4 (.MP4).
By entering the competition, the participants guarantee:
- that the entry is their original work; and
- that all the personal information given is correct.
The received videos will be evaluated by a competent jury on the basis of the technical and aesthetic value of the work, the originality and creativity of the author, as well as compliance with the theme “My Journey to Europe”, looking at the process of Montenegro’s integration into the EU.
Video works that pass the pre-selection jury will be available from 15 June on the Facebook page of the EU Info Centre, as well as on its other social media platforms.
The final results of the contest will be published on 30 June 2017.
The winner of the competition will be awarded a study visit to Brussels.
