The Montenegrin Media Institute introduced an Open Call for projects related to media literacy promotion on a local level. The Open Call is part of a regional project called “Media for Citizens – Citizens for Media“ supported by the European Union in Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Hercegovina and the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
Representatives of the Media Institute introduced the Open Call during the Info Session, which was organised at the EU Info Centre, explaining that the Call is open to civil nonprofit organisations in Montenegro who deal with programmes related to media, education, public campaigns and art, or those who develop innovative projects.
The total budget for this Call is € 20,000. Organisations may apply for small grants from € 3,000 to € 5,000. The deadline for application submission is 25 February. More information about the Open Call can be found on the Media Institue’s website.
