The NGO Zero Waste Montenegro, in partnership with the EU Delegation and the EU Info Centre in Montenegro is organizing for the third year in a row the International Coastal Cleanup and Waste Audit Day in Montenegro 2019.
This is a global event and it is celebrated annually on the third Saturday in September all over the world. This action aims to make citizens more aware of their crucial role in proper waste. This joint action also highlights the responsibility of municipalities to collect and sort garbage timely, and of producers to reduce single-use plastic.
Therefore, we are inviting all interested NGOs and citizen groups to join us in our endeavor to clean-up the beaches and river banks. If you are interested please download the following document:
