A.C.C.E.N.T.- Accessibility, Civic Conscience, Employment for Persons with Disabilities, as a New TREND

Promoting inclusion and equal employment opportunities for persons with disabilities is central to social and economic development of any country. Unfortunately, persons with disabilities are likely to be unemployed or earn less than those without a disability.

This project is aimed at increasing employment opportunities for persons with disabilities (PWDs) and enhancing the employability of PWDs by developing their competences and professional skills. It will also contribute to social inclusion of PWDs and better intersectoral cooperation in the area of employment of PWDs. The project will cover the municipalities of Bar and Ulcinj in Montenegro and the municipalities of Shkodër and Lezhë in Albania.

During the implementation period, the project is expected to result in better employment outcomes and new employment opportunities for persons with disabilities, as well as in a better system for persons with disabilities in accessing work, both at institutional and corporate levels.
