Procurement of search and rescue equipment and health care equipment

EU policies and actions in public health are aimed at protecting and improving the health of EU citizens, supporting the modernization of health infrastructure and improving the efficiency of Europe’s health system. The EU also provides support to strengthening health systems outside its borders.

Through this project, the EU supported the Montenegrin health system with emergency vehicle donation. More precisely, 12 modern and fully equipped emergency ambulance vehicles are donated to the Institute for Emergency Medical Aid of Montenegro. They are equipped with everything necessary to help people in emergencies or disaster situations, which represent a real contribution to the national health care services.

These vehicles create a modern infrastructure for rescue services and potentially save lives that previously could not have been saved. Also, they will be used for many years to come and will have a long-term impact and a high degree of sustainability. In short, with this project is improved health infrastructure and quality of health care in Montenegro.
