Social innovation leads to new or improved opportunities and better use of assets and resources. This project focuses on building and strengthening the skills and competencies of young people in the cross-border area of Kosovo* and Montenegro for socially innovative practices and participation in the digital economy sector. The project will help establish hackerspaces in the targeted area.
Young people in the cross-border area will be informed and encouraged to use social innovation and technology as their career perspective. They will also be provided with different training sessions and personal assistance for boosting competences and skills needed for developing their own business solutions.
Furthermore, this project encourages young people to exchange ideas and start business collaboration with the other young people from the targeted area. In this way, the project contributes to better youth social entrepreneurship in the Capital City of Podgorica and the municipalities of Rožaje and Berane in Montenegro, and in the municipalities of Peć/Peja, Istok/Istog and Dečani/Deçan in Kosovo.
In short, this project will contribute to improving self-employment and access to the labour market for young people.
