We’re looking for you. Yes, you! If you are a young person who is thirsty for knowledge, think “outside the box,” imaginative and creative, hold all the strings in your hands, take initiative, and at the same time want to learn through practical experiences, then we want to hear from you and explore what we can do together!
We are announcing the call “Yes, you!” which should result in new youth initiatives in Podgorica. It containes several interesting workshops, during which young people can learn more about the European Union, improve team skills, spend time with peers and acquire practical knowledge, which they will later apply during the creation and organisation of various activities important for young people in their city and in line with the areas covered by the EUIC.

Young people aged 18 to 30 from Montenegro have the right to apply, who are able to organise their own arrival to Podgorica during the lecture, which will take place in the last week of July. The application deadline is 20 July, and the application is available at this link. After the lecture, participants will be tasked with designing and implementing their own initiatives with the support of the EU Info Centre, in order to learn through a practical example how to be actively involved in the decision-making process.

We believe that active and critical young people, who have the creative power and ideas to launch initiatives, are essential to the vibrant European democracy. We want to empower and support them, to become more active in addressing the challenges in their communities. This initiative is just the beginning of our future intensive work with young people who want change,” explained the staff at the EU Info Centre.
