The “European Network of German Language” course includes general and specialised intensive German language courses covering political and economic topics, followed by a substantive accompanying programme. During the three-to-nine-day course in Germany and, in some cases, supplementary courses in Brussels, participants can expand their German language skills, improve their negotiation skills in specific areas and become more familiar with Germany. Within the course, participants meet with their counterparts in the fields of politics, culture, economics and other government departments. The programme is intended for senior officials, as well as representatives of government ministries from the EU member states, EU candidate countries, Norway and Iceland:

  • Whose field of work is thematically related to the European Union
  • Who have working contacts with German and EU institutions

The programme is being implemented by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Goethe Institute.

Detailed information about the courses can be found here.
